Winter Hill fell race
January 4, 2012The first race in the Lostock 2012 fell championship will be Winter Hill fell race on Sunday 12th February.

Ooh, can’t wait.
Looking back at last year’s results, looks like I was soundly beaten by Checkers and Ernill. I’ve lost a bit of weight since then, and I’ll be taking a few more jelly babies this time round.

I cant wait either, last year i think i had a bad run, just couldn’t seem to get going.
Dont think i’ve lost much weight since last year but then again i haven’t checked.
I think last year Winter Hill was Mikes 1st proper fell race so he will be right on your tail followed by Checkers and myself.
I think Lostocks narrowist runner will be trying this one, he’s shown he can run well in the 6M races ref. Dave Staff but he’s an unknown quantity at this sort of distance. So not much experience but he has youth on his side!
Lets hope for bad weather to give us olduns a bit of an advantage!!!!

Don’t think you need to panic mark or take extra jelly babies,lam sure that iam not going to be first back for lostock. However any of us can have a bad race. Should be fun if we have a good lostock turnout. After pendle hill I will be trying to keep up with mark s who is a dark horse and the one to watch or kev brown
