A large group of us took up the invite to attend an evening at BMRT HQ and were given an excellent presentation and incite as to the role of the team within our community, this was followed up with a visit to their garage to view one of their Landrover Rescue Vehicles and were shown some of the rescue kit that they carry. It was all very impressive. We are in safe hands.
After the visit we all dashed back to the Club concert room for our AGM. This was well attended, all our Officers were re-elected, the balance sheet accepted. We accepted a joint role for Road Captain to fill the empty position. Leo Pollard was nominated and accepted in a new position for the Club, that of Life Vice-President. To top it all the Pasty and Peas arrived on time. Phew!

Overall an superb night,

John

If I’d known the pasties were going to arrive this time I would have stayed on!
Well done to all the officers for retaining their positions, often a thankless task – without them there wouldn’t be a club.
And congratulatins to Leo. I’m quite proud to be in the same club as him.

What a great photo! Good meeting as well, especially pasty and peas.
