October 7, 2011After the training session we all met at the Club for our quarterly meeting where an assortment of topics were discussed, an update on the 2012 Lostock 6 was also given, maps etc given out for the X-country races, our club entry into the 2012 Virgin London marathon was given to Brian Halton who is doing it to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (sponsor sheets wiill be available soon) it was also decided to take up the invitation from BMRT to attend a presentation about their role within the local community and try to arrange it for the same night as our AGM on Wed. 7th December 2011.
Also the members were informed about an invitation to take part in either a 10km or 1/2 marathon in Boltons twin town Paderborne in Germany (more info on this to come)
A reminder was given to the 34 members who are coming on our Xmas Do that the balance of the ticket money (£17) is now due and to be given to Chris Smith before 21st October.
Supper was provided as usual.
