UKA British Hill & Fell Relay 2011
October 16, 2011Over 180 teams from across the UK gathered in a sunny Kettlewell, for the 2011 UKA British Hill & Fell Relays, Lostock AC being one of the them, competing against some of the best fell runners in the country.
We came a respectable 140thin a total time of 5:08:49.
Leg 1: 105th Robert Sharkey 00:45:12
Leg 2: 140th Mike Ernill/Adrian Hope 01:43:06
Leg 3: 158th Mark Checkley/Peter Noble 01:47:34
Leg 4: 92nd Mark Liptrot 00:52:57

A great day was had by all.
To be honest I thought we were in for a load of tedious waiting around, but it turned out to be a pleasant day out, with the early mist burning off to give a glorious day.
A good team effort overall.
