Mince Pie run
December 28, 2011We met at the car park by the Top Barn. It was a beautiful but cold day with a thickish layer of snow on the ground. We set off and had an easy run up to the Keep, then went over to Two Lads and met up with John, Geof, Clive and Mark who had walked up to us. we had mince pies, cake and brandy and port (which is a first for me on a run!) then a group of us carried on for a few more miles running up to the mast before returning to the barn for a brew. Its the first time I’ve run up on the hill in the snow and I really enjoyed it. A fabulous morning out running with a great club!
