Haggis run 8 Jan 2012

January 10, 2012

Twenty or so members turned up at the top barn for our annual haggis run, after the usual pleasantries we set off towards the pigeon tower, pike and on to 2-lads for the haggis, after 500metres it all ended for me when my calf muscle went again and I hobbled back to my car. Tha call of the haggis was very strong so I dashed around to the car park at the cattle grid on the mast road and limped up to 2-lads to meet up with the Garnseys, Mark, Leo Sheila and Geof. we did not have to wait long for the first ones arrive and the haggis was shared out along with the odd sniff of the malt. Soon the runners left us, some of the more hardy ones went via the mast and the others via georges lane back to the barn for a wel earned coffee.
Thanks to all who turned out for this run.
John
