Best running moment? Completing my first 10k (Lostock 6) without stopping and in less than an hr.
Worst running moment? How I felt after my first ever run, exhausted and slightly sick but I still went back for more!

Miles per week? 4 – 5
Goals? To work up to doing a half marathon
Top tip? Keep positive and run regularly, you’ll be amazed how your stamina improves over a short period of time.
Best post run food? Anything carb based like sausage & mash
Favourite drink? G & T
Other interests/pass times? Helping out at my sons school, pottering in the garden, dining out and reading a good book. (A good holiday is always appreciated too!!)
Best thing about the club? It’s well organised, friendly and running in a group means you run further and for longer so you ultimately achieve more. I would recommend anyone thinking of joining to come along and give it a go, you might even enjoy yourself!
