Wednesday 24th February 2010 – Road run
February 25, 2010Because some of the new members have never run the Lostock 6 race route it was decided to drive over to the start and do a recce of the course with them. So after a bit of organisation 6 cars set off from Leisure centre. One group went to Chew Moor to run 3.5 miles or so whilst the rest did the full distance. It turned out to be a good session, but “orrible hill” never gets any easier. There were a few shouts of despair when we had to go through a bit of mucky stuff through the farm at Hall lane just before finishing. But all enjoyed the run. Followed by a well deserved pint!
